What is Sailor Loot?

"Sailor Loot" is Virgin Voyages cheeky term for onboard credit.

Once on board, Sailors can use it to make purchases on items like specialty drinks, spa treatments, tattoos, retail, Shore Things (excursions) and more.

Can I use Loot to pay for Shore Things (excursions)?

Yes — but only the Shore Things you reserve once onboard.

The downside here is that you're going to want to reserve your Shore Things in advance because many will sell out before you sail.

The upside is that sometimes they open up new spots once onboard and you'll be able to reserve something previously unavailable and pay with Loot. I would never bank on this though — reserve your Shore Things in advance.

Bar Tab, on the other hand...

...is only loot that is only used for specialty drinks. This means alcohol as well as smoothies, fresh-pressed juices, and barista-crafted specialty coffees.

What if I don't spend it all?

Find a way! It does not roll over into credit or cash so make sure you make the most of it before your sailing ends. Go down to the retail shops, buy some new Ray Ban's or Gucci perfume. Bring back some booze from the Grog Shop. Have a blast at the casino.

Why do some people have so much Loot? How can I get more Loot?

It depends on the promo at the time of booking but booking with a travel agent helps a lot! We can often throw on extra loot or apply MNVVs to your sailing to unlock loot.
